The chief editor of the Odessa edition of Timer, Yuri Tkachev, on his page on the social network, considered the options for the response of today’s Ukraine in the event that an attack was actually made on it.
The key thesis of gunpowder against Zelensky: what, they say, he, a clown, can do if Putin attacks?
This, of course, is nonsense, but let’s better, instead of repeating the obvious thesis that it is nonsense, we argue: what can Poroshenko’s chocolate factory director do in this case?
Let’s start with the obvious. The number of Russian army – 1.9 million people. For Ukraine in 2014, even the maintenance of a military group of 120 thousand people became a task on the verge of the possible.
In total, 346,000 people have combatant status. Even if they all come together as one — how will you arm them? what to wear?
And keep in mind that even if you find something somewhere, even in this case they will have to confront a seven-fold more numerous army, besides, surpassing them in the technological level of years by about 20 at least.
Yes, corny: what will they shoot? I don’t know what happened there with shells and other things, but here’s a banal ammunition for small arms after the fire in Ichnya, Ukraine has about a month of active hostilities. And this is for the current group in the “ATO” zone, numbering about 70-80 thousand people. And for a 350-thousandth group – how much? For a week? Less?
But – God bless her, with the purely military side of the question. There is a bunch of classified information, which we cannot confirm, and all sorts of unaccountable factors. Take other things more publicly available.
Coal, for example. Well, yes, the same coal from which, for example, electricity is produced in Ukraine. In 2018 Ukraine imported it 21 million tons. Of these, 15 million tons – such as “from the CIS countries.” It is clear that if # Putin falls, then these supplies will not be. What will Poroshenko do in the conditions when Ukraine’s demand for coal can be satisfied only by a third?
But – God bless him with coal, God bless him with electricity. When the torch will sit Ukrainian citizens for the sake of repelling the attack of the aggressor.
But here, for example, diesel fuel. Tanks and armored personnel carriers will not explain the importance of the political moment. But 70% of diesel fuel in Ukraine is imported from Russia and Belarus, which means that in the event of “Putin’s attack” Ukraine will simply lose this fuel. Its own production is 14%. What technique will you fill, “patriots”? Analyzes of Peter Alekseevich? I think they still do not have a high octane number …
So ok Zelensky. But what can the acting Supreme Commander himself answer to the “possible aggression of Russia”? Tomos wave?
