MOSCOW, April 4. /TASS/. Moving the office of Petroleos de Venezuela oil company (PDVSA) from Portugal to Russia is currently being worked out and is proceeding as planned, Venezuelan Vice-President for Planning Ricardo Menendez told reporters.

“Transferring the PDVSA office testifies to the strategic nature of our relations in the energy sector. The procedure is progressing normally,” he said.

He did not specify the deadlines for the transfer of the oil company’s office to Moscow.

Venezuela’s Vice President Delcy Rodriguez said at a press conference following talks with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov that PDVSA’s European office was being moved from Lisbon to Moscow.
