MOSCOW, November 28. /TASS/. Russia’s FC Lokomotiv Moscow has defeated Turkey’s Galatasaray 2-0 in their UEFA Champions League group stage match on Wednesday.

This is the first time Lokomotiv FC has won a match in the current UEFA Champions League, as the team earlier suffered four defeats in a row, losing to Galatasaray (0-3, away), Germany’s Schalke (0-1, at home), Portugal’s Porto (1-3, at home) and then to Porto again (1-4, away).

The Russian team has gained three points and comes fourth in Group D, while Galatasaray is third with four points. However, Lokomotiv FC still has a chance to move up to the third position and enter the play-off round.

The team will play against Schalke in its final group stage match on December 11.
