Russian bobsledders capture bronze at World Cup stage in US

TASS, February 17. Russian bobsledders Maxim Andrianov, Alexei Zaitsev, Vasily Kondratenko and Ruslan Samitov took bronze in the four-man bobsleigh race at the IBSF World Cup stage in Lake Placid, the United States.

Canadian athletes led by Justin Kripps won gold with 1 minute 49.54 seconds). The Latvian team headed by Oskars Kibermanis are second (+0.07). The Russian team lost 0.13 seconds.

This is the first medal of the Russian team at the World Cup stage. The next stage in Calgary (Canada) from February 23 to 24 will be the closing one.
