President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko compared some actions of Moscow against Minsk with sanctions, being outraged by the fact that Russia “has become impudent and has begun to twist our arms.”

“I hear and read information every day that our main trade partner (they like to call themselves partners) is increasingly introducing sanctions against Belarus.

They themselves are under sanctions and condemn it, and I absolutely support them here. But at the same time, such weapons are fighting against their closest allies.

That one enterprise was closed, then another. Then either the carrot, or the salad, or the cucumbers did not like it. Whether they suspect that we are not delivering something from there. And every day there is a closure of our enterprises. We are shutting down the market, ”Lukashenka said at a meeting with the economic bloc of the government.

In this context, he cited the example of repairing emergency sections of an oil pipeline and oil product pipeline that go through Belarus.

“We would have to close these pipelines for repair for several days. But we did not do that. We understood that this would be detrimental to the Russian Federation. And then I ordered to work in emergency order, but not to block these roads, on which the main export product of the Russian Federation is transported, oil, ”Lukashenko explained his idea.

“If you need to put on repair oil pipelines and oil pipelines that go through Belarus, install and repair. Because the good that we do for the Russian Federation, it turns around us constantly evil.

They have become impudent there to such an extent that they are starting to twist our arms, ”Lukashenka said, turning to Deputy Prime Minister Igor Lyashenko.

“We must take action. Well, we are all the time: we are beaten on the left cheek – we are substituting the right, ”Lukashenko concluded.
