Rosstat recorded an increase in real wages and pensions

According to Rosstat, pensions in February of this year increased by 5.9%, amounting to 14,116 thousand rubles.

Nominal wages increased by 6% compared with February 2018, and the average nominal wage reached 43,030 thousand rubles. Real wages, that is, taking into account inflation, rose by only 0.7%, while by January 2019 they decreased by 0.3%

The average assigned pension is currently 32.8% of the average salary.

Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed a law on the indexation of pensions in excess of the subsistence minimum. Now the social pension should be brought to the subsistence minimum in the region, which on average in the country amounts to 8.4 thousand rubles, and then it will be indexed. The recalculation will apply to all benefits accrued this year.
