MOSCOW, January 7. /TASS/. The police in the Urals city of Chelyabinsk have launched a check into media reports about a wolf attack on a child in a city park, a spokesman for the regional department of the Russian interior ministry told TASS on Monday.

“This incident was not reported to the police. A check has been launched to verify information published in the media,” the spokesman said.

A video featuring a wolf grabbing a child’s leg and passersby trying to drag it away in the city’s central park was posted on the VKontakte social network.
