Moscow re-enacts historic, morale-boosting 1941 military parade on Red Square

About 5,000 people marched along Red Square to celebrate the 77th anniversary of the historic military parade held in Moscow on November 7, 1941. The first parade in the virtually besieged Moscow in which 28,500 participated and which had lasted for about an hour had had an enormous influence on the course of the war, because this event contributed to an upsurge in morale throughout the whole country.
