CHISINAU, February 11. /TASS/. Moldova’s President Igor Dodon has said his Ukrainian counterpart Pyotr Poroshenko will pay a visit to Chisinau on February 13, but no meeting between the two heads of state is planned.
“Poroshenko is expected to arrive on Wednesday,” Dodon told the Accent TV channel on Monday, declining to specify the purpose of the visit.
“As for the meeting, as far as I understand, Poroshenko is a presidential candidate. I believe it would be wrong to meet with him or any other candidate. That could be regarded as interference in the political struggle in the neighboring country, which we respect very much,” he noted.
