MOSCOW, December 4. /TASS/. German Chancellor Angela Merkel tops the 2018 list of the World’s 100 Most Powerful Women, Forbes reported on Tuesday.
The Chancellor retains the top spot for the eighth consecutive year, and 13 times in total. She is followed by UK Prime Minister Theresa May (No. 2) and International Monetary Fund managing director Christine Lagarde (No. 3). Others also making it to the top five are General Motors CEO Mary Barra who came in fourth, trailed by Fidelity Investments CEO Abigail Johnson.
Russian central bank governor Elvira Nabiullina ranks 49th in the Forbes ranking of the 100 most powerful women in the world for 2018, followed by US singer Beyonc·.
