Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro declared his readiness to sit at the negotiating table with his political opponents.

About this on Monday, April 8, said the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic, Jorge Arreas.

“Dialogue on political, social, economic issues is the only way (out of crisis), President Maduro and his government expect that the opposition will deign to respect its people and start negotiations without forcing us to waste time,” said Arreasa.

The Foreign Minister also expressed the hope that the Venezuelan opposition “will be freed from dependence on the United States.”
