Krasnodar ties with Bayer in UEFA Europa League Round of 32

KRASNODAR, February 15. /TASS/. The UEFA Europa League Round of 32 Leg 1 match between Russia’s Krasnodar and Germany’s Bayer ended in a goalless draw on Thursday night.

The game, held in Krasnodar, gathered the record number of spectators – 34,827, beating the previous record of 34,652, set on November 4, 2018.

Prior to the game, a minute of silence was observed in memory of Argentine footballer Emiliano Sala, who died in a plane crash last month.

It was the first-ever encounter between the two football clubs.

The rematch will be held on February 21 in the German city of Leverkusen.
