DEIR-QAQ /ALEPPO PROVINCE/, February 12. /TASS/. There has been an exchange of 20 Syrian citizens held by armed opposition groups for 20 militants near Deir Qaq, Aleppo province, a TASS correspondent reports from the scene.
“The exchange was arranged by Russian, Turkish and Iranian military officials within the framework of the activity of the working group for the exchange of detainees and hostages, handover of bodies and search for those missing in Syria, created on the basis of results of the International Meeting on Syria in Astana on December 22, 2017,” the Russian Defense Ministry said. Syria’s Arab Red Crescent society attended the exchange.
