Previously, the security forces dispersed most of the rally using a large amount of tear gas and light-noise grenades.
On Thursday evening, Washington announced the recall of its minor diplomats and their families living in Haiti, and urged Americans not to go to the island republic. The US State Department ordered all children of embassy diplomatic corps officers to leave the territory on Tuesday.
