Deputy Secretary of State John J. Sullivan spoke today with Prime Minister Zoran Zaev and congratulated him on implementation of the historic Prespa Agreement. The Deputy Secretary commended the Prime Minister for his strong leadership in securing the Agreement, which will lead to greater stability and prosperity in the Western Balkans. Deputy Secretary Sullivan emphasized that the United States looks forward to welcoming North Macedonia as the 30th member of NATO.
