TASS, February 13. Chukotka at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi plans to present a project to develop two oil and gas fields – Zapadno-Ozerskoye and Verkhne-Telekaiskoye, the regional government’s press service said on Wednesday.
“The forum will offer a separate case-area for presentations of regional investment projects,” the press service said in a statement. “Chukotka has announced the presentation of the Zapadno-Ozerskoye and Verkhne-Telekaiskoye fields. The region wants to attract investors and to find new technology solutions.”
The recoverable resources at the Zapadno-Ozerskoye field are estimated at more than 4.4 bcm, at the Verkhne-Telekaiskoye field – at 2.8 million tonnes. “[The] gas [resources are] 2 bcm and 100,000 cubic meters of condensate,” the statement reads.
The region’s representatives, including Governor Roman Kopin, will participate in the forum’s business program.
The Russian Investment Forum will take place on February 14-15. The forum’s key topic in 2019 is implementation of national projects. The event’s organizer is the Roscongress Foundation. TASS is the forum’s general information partner and the photohost agency.
