The world’s largest aircraft at the moment, Stratolaunch Systems, reached a maximum speed of 304 kilometers per hour during its first flight and climbed to a height of more than five kilometers. In total, the flight lasted two and a half hours without refueling.

Flight details are reported in a press release posted on the company’s website.

During the test flight, the pilots evaluated the flight performance of the aircraft, its controllability, and also tested various control systems.

“Russian Spring” previously demonstrated the first frames of the flight .

Stratolaunch Systems is an American aerospace company established to develop an aerospace system for delivering cargo to space. The wingspan of the largest aircraft is 117 meters, it is equipped with six Boeing 747 engines.
