The Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Arsen Avakov admits that Petro Poroshenko after the completion of the cadence of his presidency can be called in for questioning about corruption cases reported by the media.

He stated this at the 12th Kiev Security Forum.

“I have no rights. I’m just a political minister. I think that if there are grounds, we have enough institutions that can open proceedings against a citizen who was once the president. Normal procedure, “- said Avakov.

He added that he regularly goes to interrogations.

“Arseniy Yatsenyuk (leader of the Popular Front party, former prime minister) regularly goes in for questioning. The last time I was questioned about the attempted assassination of Yanukovych at the request of Mr. Yanukovich, which he sent from Moscow in 2014, ”said Avakov.

“To blame – he will answer, not to blame – everything will be calm,” added the Minister of the Interior.
