Artists from four countries participate in Arctic show in Murmansk

MURMANSK, November 30. /TASS/. The Arctic Arts and Design international exhibition opened on Friday at the Murmansk Arctic State University, where artists from Russia, Finland, the Netherlands and Turkey will demonstrate their works, the University’s press service told TASS.

“The international exhibition Arctic Arts and Design opened at the University’s 2nd international forum Creative Industries in the Arctic Region: Experience and Future,” the University said.

Guests will see works, devoted to the Arctic. The objects are made in graphics and design, digital painting, photography and in other genres and styles: paintings, toys, furniture, jewelry, clothing, etc. Russian exhibiting artists come from St. Petersburg and from Murmansk.

The Murmansk Arctic State University organizes the Creative Industries in the Arctic Region: Experience and Future forum in partnership with the National Fund for Training Specialists. The forum invites participants to seminars, master classes and other events. Delegates have come from Russia’s regions and a few countries.
